Welcome to the International Young Retreat in the beautiful Swedish countryside.
Join us for a week where you get to meet other young meditators (17-35 years old) and get the opportunity to dive into the meditative experience. You’ll get to try out morning yoga, meditations longer than 3 hours, guidance in groups and enjoy various outside activities.
No need to meditate on a daily basis to attend the retreat, but it is a prerequisite that you have learnt to practice Acem meditation.
Practice the second level of long meditations
At this retreat, you practice the second level of long meditations: 3 hours. With this meditation length, deeper layers of stress and tensions loosen up. You feel renewed from within.
Daily meditation guidance
You take part in guidance groups of 4-6 people, led by experienced instructors. This is a place to share your experiences from your meditation. Your open reflection and the dialogue with the instructor help you meditate better, while giving your personal insights.
Evening seminars to support your meditative journey
To further support your understanding of the meditation, evening talks address relevant topics, such as meta-thoughts and self-images, the free mental attitude, personal growth and existential topics.
Yoga
You can start the day with yoga, which gives a good bodily starting point for the long meditations.
Meditative community
The retreat has an open and inclusive vibe, and includes different activities to enable social interactions. If you don’t know anyone going to the retreat, don’t worry, you will quickly feel a sense of belonging.
